BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

A deposit of one night's accommodation is required to secure your booking. Please note that the balance of your accommodation is due 30 days prior to your arrival. The remaining balance will be debited from the credit card provided to us when making the initial reservation. Please contact us should you wish to amend your payment method.

At Apartments Inn Byron, office hours are 8am to 6pm. Check in time is 2pm and check out is at 10am. Should your travel plans be outside of these hours, please contact Reception, prior to arrival. If you will be arriving after 6pm, Apartments Inn Byron offers an after hours check in service.  The after hours check in assistance is located to the left handside of the front entrance doors, on the wall.  Please follow the instructions for after hours assistance.

Please be aware that all booking requests have been noted and where possible we will endeavour to accommodate your wishes, however these requests cannot be guaranteed.

On arrival, you will be asked to provide either a valid credit card for a $100 Pre-Authorisation or a $100 refundable cash deposit as security against any incidentals that you may incur during your stay.

Our studio, and studio deluxe apartments are hotel style rooms, and include tea and coffee making facilities. These rooms are pre-equipped with a starter pack of sundry needs including Sanctum toiletries.

Our one, two and three bedroom apartments are fully equipped, and include a dishwasher, stove top, microwave, washer/dryer for your cooking and washing needs.  The apartments are pre-equipped with a starter pack of sundry needs including Sanctum toiletries and washing powders. These items are also available for purchase from reception should you require additional supplies. 

Apartments Inn Byron provide one complimentry undercover car park per apartment/studio for nominated guests. If you require a second car space please contact reception prior to arrival. Our carpark is located underneath the complex, and entry is located adjacent to the reception doors.

Our cancellation policy is as follows;

Cancellation with greater than 30 days notice to the date of arrival - full deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of $55.
Cancellation with less than 30 days but more than 7 days notice prior to the date of arrival - 2 nights accommodation (at an average per night rate) or 50% of the booking cost, which ever is the lesser.
Cancellation within 7 days of the date of arrival - no refund.

IN-HOUSE REGULATIONS

 

For each booking, at least one guest must be over the age of 18 and that guest will be legally responsible for all rooms included with that booking. That guest must be staying at Apartments Inn Byron for the whole duration of the booking.

A valid credit card must be supplied with each booking and the person responsible for that credit card must be the legal holder of the credit card and be in a position to sign off any expenses that are charged to that credit card. This person must be included in the relevant booking at Apartments Inn Byron and be staying at the premises for the whole duration of the booking in question.

On arrival a Pre Authorisation of $100.00 will be held against your credit card.  If this is not used during your stay it will be cancelled but may take up to ten banking days to clear from your account

Guests and invitees of guests are expected to behave in a manner which maintains the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests and staff within the property. Management will consider the following behavior to be a breach of the House Rules:
Noisy, offensive and/or unruly behavior
Damage to or destruction of property
Improper or unseemly conduct
Any act or omission which, in the opinion of the Manager, adversely affects or brings discredit upon the manager, staff, owner or other guests
Smoking indoors - additional charges apply
Littering
Excessive noise requiring  a call out will incur a $60 charge

The maximum number of persons permitted to be staying in the premises will be designated on your booking form. Guests must not hold private functions on the premises where the number of people on the premises exceeds the maximum number of persons permitted on the booking form.  Any violation of this house rule may result in the cancellation of the booking, with persons involved vacate the premises immediately.  No refund applicable.

If guests do not meet the above criteria when checking in at the premises (e.g. no valid credit card or the guests are not valid holders of the credit card offered), then the booking will be cancelled and a 100% cancellation fee will apply. Any exception to this policy will be at the discretion of the management. Management will not be liable for arranging or payment for alternative accommodation.

Apartments Inn Byron and/or any of its employees shall not be liable for the loss of or damage to any occupants’ valuables whilst staying at the premises. Accordingly, occupants are requested to take whatever security measures they believe are necessary to protect and secure their valuables and personal possessions.

Guests must leave the premises in an orderly and clean condition. Extra charges may be incurred for any additional cleaning required in your room. Management reserves the right to debit the fee from any credit card it holds from the relevant guest.

Guests must not keep or permit any animals on the premises.

Guests must not park or stand a vehicle or bicycle other than in those parts of the premises allocated for car parking.

Guests will be held responsible for all loss or damage caused to Apartments Inn Byron as a result of breach of the House Rules.

An afterhours callout of fee of $60 is applicable for any guest who locks themselves out of their room / premises after business hours.

Management reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to ask any occupant to leave the premises in the event of non-compliance with the House Rules.

In the event of an evacuation (fire alarm will sound), please calmly make your way to your nearest exit and assemble outside the Mary-Ryans Bookshop directly across the road of our front entrance (main entrance).
